Baguio believes corporate social responsibility (CSR) is the backbone of the core corporate values. To this end, our CSR working group takes part in programs supporting environmental protection and volunteer work, but also arouses public awareness towards environmental protection and waste management issues. Going beyond corporate philanthropy, the Group has devoted time and human recourses to give back to the environment, Hong Kong community and people in needs by encouraging our employees to participate in volunteer work and establishing partnerships with NPOs. For five consecutive years, we have been named as a Caring Company by The Hong Kong Council of Social Service in recognition of our contributions to support community building, environmental conservation activities, and people development.

Baguio major works and key sustainability performances in 2020:

l  Organized 40 public incentive scheme (PIS) events to promote clean recycling and build recycling habits in the community

l  Actively participated in community services, recorded a total of 309 online and offline volunteering hours

l  Hosted a total of 26 hours of recycling plant tour and webinar for 5 organizations

l  Provided around HK$180,000 cash sponsorship and in-kind sponsorships including materials and recyclables collection services
